Privacy policy

Tortoise Time is designed to collect as little about you as possible.

Your assessment results

When you use an assessment, the numbers you enter and your results are processed in your browser and saved in your browser’s local storage on your device. They are not sent to Tortoise Time, and we cannot see them. You can delete them at any time from the Saved results page or by clearing your browser data.

Accounts, cookies and analytics

This site does not currently offer accounts, does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not run analytics. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.

Services we rely on

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The VO₂ Max Challenge dashboard is a separate site with its own practices.
